Advanced Strength Training (DTS-AST)
The course is a comprehensive hands-on workshop that will provide trainers with a wide variety of tools to help enrich their clients training experience. At the end of the two day course trainers will learn how to properly and safely progress clients through more advanced training techniques ranging from pull-up variations to power snatches.
Day one consists of advanced strength training techniques and exercises that include pull-ups, pressing, squatting and deadlifting progressions.
Day two-day is an introduction to olympic weightlifting techniques and all of their variations, including power snatch, power clean and split jerk. Trainers will become comfortable performing all of the olympic lifts and learn to identify common technical errors.
