Program Design - Goodlife Periodization Model (DTS-PD)
The goal of this 2-day course is to educate Goodlife personal trainers on how to write a twelve-month program. Personal trainers will learn what is required for the foundation, build, burn and strength/power phases.
Personal trainers taking this course will: learn program design basics, review common errors, critically review training programs and write programs for each of the phases. Trainers will be guided by templates that outline 2-3 different methods that can be used for each phase and directed toward additional resource materials that will support continuing education.
This will primarily be a lecture-focused course. Although there will be some practical components where participants will be asked to demonstrate and execute selected workouts from each of the phases.
The DTS-AE course is the pre requisite for this course. You do not have to take the DTS-AE but it is recommended.
